(2,550 posts)The machines were rigged. Each side makes this claim and, even though it's possible to do, there is not proof of systemic rigging.
I'm also not a huge believer in disenfranchisement. I think there can be more done to make it easier to vote, but if you want to vote, you can.
I would love to see automatic enrollment and more early voting, as well as scrapping the caucus system.

(16,670 posts)What do you think why safeguards such as the Electoral College or the filibuster exist? Or why political gerrymandering is considered perfectly normal? It's to protect the politicians from what the unwashed masses want.
Your elections have never been "fair" because they aren't supposed to be.
