When they show these robots and say "built to be anatomically "just like a human".

Let's be clear, the human body is fascinating but it is far from "great" or worthy of being copied.

Our spine, our knees, our eyes, our throat, our pelvis and our brain, are all a mess and not ideal for our needs and/or durability.

This is marketing. They sell the human design as a way to stroke our ego.
I don't need a robot that looks like me to wash dishes. I already have a machine that washes dishes better than I do.
I don't need a robot to clean my clothes. I already have a machine that does it better than I could.

My point is if I'm going to pay a lot of money for a robot, I don't give a shit if it looks like me.
Can it do the task "X" more effective than I could? Better than a machine I already own?

That is what I want.
