(53,061 posts)We have trained our Golden Retriever a number of odd tricks like pushing the button at the cross walk and while sitting raising his paws together in a Thai 'wai', a simple bow as a greeting. It is also used as a sign of respect when you pass an image of the Buddha.
When 'Champ' walked by this scultpure he sat and gave it a big 'wai'.
My wife laughed so hard she literally was on the ground laughing.
On the way home we stopped by and bought a lottery ticket just in case, lol.

(16,412 posts)[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I've sent this to a number of people and I crack up every time I look at it, and the teacher doing his "facepalm" sends me into giggling fits. Thanks for the compliment... I kinda like my name, too.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
