The channel showed up all by itself. I was going to watch trains, and out of nowhere this thing shows up.

(70,579 posts)Completely coincidentally, some weather channel has popped up on YouTube. This looks like some totally serious stuff.
Let me try to get the link. This is it:

(6,670 posts)Very frightening, even from a distance.
Who was that asshole representative who brought a snowball onto the chamber floors and declared that "snow in DC" meant that "global warming was a hoax". --- Fuck him... and all the climate change deniers.

(7,922 posts)said it has hit places all around her, but so far she's okay. I hate when friends are so many miles away! I tend to worry a little too much...
Although it's south and north of us today, I've added cleaning out the main level "safe room" since we're under a watch now, and looks like storms all next week. It's a lot easier to herd the cats into the safe room than it is for me try to get them to the basement. Heck, it's easier for ME to go to the safe room... those basement stairs are scary as heck at my age!
Everyone in these monsters' way... eyes up and stay safe!!!

(31,961 posts)always reminds me of this...
And of the time I was riding in a car with my dad going to Wichita. We had two moderate sized tornados on each side of I-35... and my dad told me to keep a sharp eye on the one on my side... I think I was 5 or 6 years old.
