I was looking for the names of the members of the Arab Higher Committee (you know, the folks who turned down a homeland for Palestinian Arabs because they were against a homeland for Palestinian Jews), and the first hit on Google was an AI response that referenced Israel as "the Zionist project".

Well, I decided to engage with the AI bot and called it out for the anti-Semitic reference. The AI chatbot quickly acknowledged the anti-Semitism and apologized. It admitted that the accurate term would have been "the Jewish Agency partition" and/or "Israel".

In the same initial AI response, the chatbot asserted that the Arab Higher Committee represented "Palestinians". I called it out again, noting that the Arab Higher Committee represented Palestinian Arabs and that the Jewish Agency represented Palestinian Jews. I asked why it referred to Palestinian Arabs simply as "Palestinians", as if Palestinian Jews did not exist.

The chatbot again apologized for the inaccuracy, explaining that it was simply using shorthand in the interest of brevity. The chatbot also made the excuse that its programed responses often reflect terminology most frequently used in text sources and the internet.

There's a lot of crap out there that is continually amplified by those who seek bias confirmation and then knowingly or unknowingly spread misinformation and propaganda.

Thank you for posting a link to a resource fighting the propaganda one false narrative at a time.

Islamophobic and pro-Bibi too.

Yes I know it's the Jewish Group. Nevertheless, people should be aware of what FLAME is as they don't expect links to such RW groups on DU.
