Looks like she might have had botox or other enhancements (dental?) that stiffen her mouth, lips, etc. At any rate, I'm glad I finally learned to listen to her. I think she and her friend, Corina, do some good work.

ETA: SheltieLover, I didn't mean to imply that I think she has a Russian or Eastern European accent. I have seen her fake a Russian accent when she's discussing Pootin and his henchmen. She's pretty funny sometimes.

There are lots of local accents based on ethnicity and borough. I had assumed that she was a Puerto Rican New Yorker.
I also have problems understand her at times. Like someone else said, it seems that she had botox or other work that affected speech.

I have had a few problems with it, too, but I think it's because her mind is a lot faster than her ability to enunciate. In fact that is true of all of us (used to teach that in speech communication classes), but I think she's particularly smart. When you combine high IQ with psychic impressions, it's a lot. Most people couldn't do it.

Not to mention she's a character with a far-out sense of humor.

The imitations she does off the cuff crack me up. Her Melania is really worth watching, if you can catch when she's going into an imitation. She fades in and out of these characters really fast so you have to kind of know her schtick to appreciate it.

Just checked a short time ago and she has 3 new ones out. She did tell us she would be doing them as needed during these intense days leading up to the inauguration. I haven't watched them yet; I think I'll do that now.
