Wan't Christmas moved to a pagan time period? Star charts indicate Jesus was born in the summer.. Not knocking it but call it as it is.. Good marketing..

you already knew it. Do you suppose my posts here have you as the intended audience? Not everyone attended a Jesuit college. Not everyone is aware of everything. As I see from the thread, more than one person appreciated the information at that link. Not everyone has the extensive knowledge of everything that you believe you have, you see.
I will remind you that the Religion Group is not your group. It belongs to all of us, through the courtesy of DU's administrators. Criticizing someone's post because you already knew something is overstepping. If you don't need the information I post, you can easily avoid clicking through to read it. Someone else might gain new knowledge from it, though.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
