inspirational ideas to get your day started just right. I don't know. It just struck me as funny. Kid hops out of bed in the morning, and hears the story of Elisha and the Two Bears or something. I can think of all sorts of uses for a talking rug, but most of them would be really annoying, I'm sure, early in the morning.

And yes, you can program it with your own motivational messages. It will play your MP3 files, so you can record your favorite Bible Verses or other things, like ideas for the day, etc.

It's a freaking marvel, it is. Kids can record their morning prayers and then pray along with themselves on rising. Or if you have trouble remembering your DU password, you could have it speak the word to you every morning when you wake up.

And then, there is the practical joke element. Record something you want someone to hear when they get out of bed, just for a laugh. Or remind someone to take care of a chore, or offer an idea for something to do later.

You just download a sound file from your computer, using the handy USB cable (optional - not included).
