Just turned on the TV to see if any motor sports were on. The usual football and golf, but wait, a GP race starting.....

......after this break. It comes on and it's a "Formula E" in Florida. O.K. So I watch it for about two minutes, and I know it's just me, but that stuff is pretty boring. Now I am a true car guy. I will watch the eighth hour of Sebring, the night racing at LeMans, drag racing, stock cars, lots of different stuff and be perfectly happy. But electric race cars just don't do it for me. Sorry.

but when I watched a live FormulaE race in Portland OR a couple of years ago I was very underwhelmed. Basically, the lack of sound from the cars made them seem like toys. Yes, IC engines have to go, but that'll also be the end of automobile track & road racing for me.
