http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/redthread/dreamfall-chapters-the-longest-journeyThis is something to jump on!
Dreamfall / The Longest Journey was a great game and the boys from Funcom have regrouped as Red Thread Games to create the next game in the series, now that they're mostly done with The Secret World. I'm very excited to be able to help create a game I want to play! Being of the female gender I prefer adventures where killing may occur but isn't the main goal. And playing a pretty young protagonist doesn't hurt either.

I have both The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, even though I have yet to finish the former and even start the latter. So far it's a great game although the character models have not aged well. Some of the puzzles are very adventure-y with the pretty convoluted ways you have to solve seemingly simple tasks, but that's to be expected from the genre.
I'm still waiting for the classic LucasArts adventures to hit Steam. C'mon Disney...

They announced their stretch goals this morning. Includes everything from adding more platforms to lengthening and expanding the game. I really hope everyone at all interested makes a contribution, even if it's just $5.
Pretty sure we have enough shooter games already.
