Chevy Cruze

Although I'm not a car aficionado, I passed this car on a walk recently and thought it was an eye catcher and so I looked it up

It is a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze 2LT

I found out it was discontinued

From Quora:
While the Cruze was indeed a well-regarded compact car with a loyal following, these broader market dynamics ultimately led to its discontinuation after the 2019 model year.

Sales Decline: The Cruze experienced declining sales figures in its later years. As consumers increasingly opted for SUVs and trucks, the demand for compact cars diminished, making it less viable for Chevy to continue production.

Her latest one, I believe, she's had for over 7 years and has had few problems.

Similar idea and discontinued for the same reason. Apparently there is no longer a market for the little (relatively) cheap economy car.

10. Not particularly fast

But then I wasn't really trying to go fast in it. It was a typical small economy vehicle, not built for speed, just to save on gas. And it was a pain to get in and out of.

8. I had 3 Cruzes for company cars from 2012 to Jan. 2021 when I retired.

The first one got totaled (not my fault). I got another one
as a replacement in Sept. of 2014. It had 123 miles on it
when I got it. I put over 100,000 miles on it until they gave
it to another tech in July of 2019. I drove the third one
until I retired. Except for having the water pump replaced
on the high mileage one, they only required routine maintenance.

The roof pillars obstructed the driver's view so much that I considered it downright dangerous.

Also, the interior didn't seem very well laid out, offering relatively little usable space in relation to the car's overall size.
