Because there is nothing more I'd like to see than Ohio State (who I hate even more) sneak into the CFP after loosing to Michigan by 22 points and not having to play in a conference championship game.

(5,831 posts)but Utah is going medieval on USC. According to Bear Bryant, scoring just before the half and just after the half is a formula for success in football.

And then there is that team from Columbus.

(38,176 posts)Had USC won, the Huskies would have played in the Rose Bowl. Now, the Utes play in Pasadena and the Huskies get to play in the prestigious Alamo Bowl.
I guess USC gets to watch both games on their big screen televisions.

If the Utes lost, they will have fallen to No. 4. Oregon Ducks will have moved up to No. 3 and Washington Huskies to No. 2.

(38,176 posts)If Utah lost to USC, Washington would finish second in the 2022 Pac-12 pre-bowl rankings, AND a USC win the Trojans in the College Football Playoff, the Pac-12 would need a team for the Rose Bowl.
The Huskies were a huge USC fans this week, until they weren't
