I'd never heard of Stan's opponent before so I looked him up and he's Swedish but his parents immigrated from Ethiopia so he's playing for the world team. I guess it's like Mary Pierce playing for the French Federation Cup team even though she grew up in the US and her French wasn't exactly the best.

This Roger-Rafe vs Iiafo-Sock match makes me realize how much I've missed the great Federer.
