Podcast interview on Oranges for Magellan added ... (reply #6)

Last edited Sun Jan 15, 2023, 05:56 PM - Edit history (1)

Oranges for Magellan is the title.

It's about a flagpole-sitter & his family in Los Angeles in the early 1980s.

Here's my page at the publisher:
https://regalhousepublishing.com/richard-martin/

and an interview that's more focused on the book:
https://viewsonbooks.com/richard-martin-interview-oranges-for-magellan/

I won't post where to get it (i love to write but hate to promote), but it's out there pretty much everywhere. I sure enjoyed writing it and i hope anybody who gets it enjoys reading it. Thanks!

Thanks, catrose. I love the old Heraclitus quote:

"Man* is most nearly himself when he achieves the seriousness of a child at play."

*and woman, herself, she

Here's my first live interview about Oranges for Magellan (and writing in general) on a little online radio podcast. I'm on for just the first half-hour. I was nervous as hell but once i got to blabbing & blithering, i was ok. I come on at 1:27 (one minute, 27 seconds).
