Finally decided to self-publish... but need to find a good place for an illustrator!

I'd prefer to work with someone who is also just starting out and wants the recognition of a project...

It's a series (4 stories so far) for youth, no humans just animals and mostly forest and some desert scenes.
I definitely plan on marketing TF outta this and goign"on the road" for readings etc (when it possible to do that again), so I am NOT looking for "free work for exposure" I wanna make sure that my collaborator gets a cut.

Help me out folks, I dont know where to look... yes, I've seen some freelance job boards, and Im not sure if it ti feasable to pay on a project basis like that. I thought a percentage of royalties was how it worked...

but I decided to use this confinement to try and FINISH something for once!

It's easy to do Amazon (supposedly, havent gotten to formatting yet!)and print-on demand and they just take the royalties out... small percentage.

I already know what direction I wanna market and how to start...that's a whole nother level of crazy!
