(14,719 posts)I actually used that one when I needed to reanscribe an interview for a press release...
Set up the recording to play on my computer, and then opened the notes app on my phone, hit the microphone and voila!

He is an atrocious typist, everything is all caps etc.
So speech to text works best for him. It's a pretty popular software.

(3,217 posts)I think it's $15/a month, but they might be having a special on it for New Year's. I tried it and found I didn't have the time to develop enough skill with it while still working full-time. Maybe when I retire and have a minute to improve my skill, I'll re-subscribe.
