DU novel-writing month

Many of us are cooped up at home, so stealing an idea from National Novel Writing Month, let’s write 50,000 words in April—the length of a short novel. All you have to do to participate is to write and post your progress in this thread.

Rules:

* It doesn’t have to be a novel. You can write anything—novel, cookbook, dissertation, your cat’s memoirs—anything.

* It doesn’t have to be good, we’re aiming for volume, editing comes later.

* You don’t have to write every day, but you’re aiming for 50,000 words by the end of the month.

* Post your progress in this thread.

* Anyone who finishes 50,000 words will win a rousing huzzah from me.

You’re stuck inside. You have something in mind you want to write. If not now, then when?

I try not to edit as I go, which is probably my biggest obstacle.
