Cool news for fans of LM Bujold's Vorkosigan books....

I wrote her a thank-you note for allowing much of her Vorkosigan catalog to be distributed free in e-reader format on a DVD included with the hardback version of "Cryoburn."

She replied to my note graciously and offered this tantalizing tidbit:

"Next up -- from Baen, you may be pleased to know -- this coming November will be _Captain Vorpatril's Alliance_, the long-requested Ivan book. Mode is romantic-comedy-plus-caper. Pass the word..."

So, per her request, I am passing the word! Woo-HOO!

I always wondered when she was going to get around to the possibilities inherent in Ivan. Can hardly wait...

eagerly,
Bright

Baen has made available a good chunk of their library, both at the Baen Free Library and indirectly, though supported, fifthimperium.com

It's extremely generous and very smart of them. They are going to build reader loyalty.

appreciatively,
