There's some real gems in this batch.

I especially got a huge laugh out of:
The annual meeting for new residents is this weekend.

Where I live, my age is quite, ah, toasty. 75 C. 167 F, the cool setting for a sauna.

Love the snow up north WI - but got new trk tires & can't do donuts as well. Stay warm!

I thoroughly enjoyed them while wincing at the truth about us southerners.

You do know we don't invest in de-icing or snow plows, right? Not enough need to justify the expense – until times like these.

All the north/south comparisons are just truth; still, to be fair, here in Maine the first snow every year is incredibly dangerous because half the fools on the road have flat-out forgotten how to drive in it. They either panic and creep along, making everyone behind them lose traction and their temper, or they speed thoughtlessly along until they find themselves heading sideways down the highway. And hills? Don’t get me started!

I need to get some balloons and food coloring in the morning. Fun idea!
