The latest Trump's disgusting antics reminded me this book.

First time I read it, I was 14. I loved this book. Since, I have re-read it time to time with the same pleasure as the first time.

It is an autobiography of Hopi Chief Don C. Talayesva .

It is a very interesting (and very pleasant) book to read because it shows the Hopi society from inside.

The subject is the Hopi society but the book came to my mind because the Navajos live close the Hopis.

I'm always looking for something new and interesting to read.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
