I am currently reading a book that you might enjoy. It is titled "News of The World" by Paulette Jiles.
It takes place in 1870 in the west and is the story of a man entrusted with returning a young girl to her family after she spend several years with the Kiowa after having been kidnapped during a raid. It is beautifully crafted and I am enjoying it immensely.

I have a bunch of different blogs--music, movies, painting, etc.
I've heard of "News of the World." In fact, we might have in around the house somewhere. I'll have to look for it. Or check it out of the library. Thanks for the rec!

The Color of Lightning. It is a fine story. BTW, I love all of her books, esp. Lighthouse Island."
