The "Get Out" syllabus

Wow. This movie is I think a lot more important than the press is making it out to be (even though Peele is now the first black writer/director to make a $100M debut).

This is all of the thinkpieces. Like, all of them. I think this is a crucially important movie, and I'd urge you to read these.

is how little has changed since the Ralph Ellison's 'fictional' Invisible Man.

Many of Ellison's same hyper observations regarding white/black relations and attitudes are the same as in the "Get Out" syllabus.

The TV show "Atlanta" casually drops the same bombs.

Self-awareness is essential for real change.
