Fate of Pets in the Holocaust, a 2015 blog I found

If someone tried taking Alex, Duke, Peanut & any of the cats from me by force, I would have lost my life fighting them.

The soon to be murdered family gave their poodle to a neighbor the night before. The neighbor & the dog watched the Nazis herd the Jewish family away, the neighbor & dog wept.

I went looking for info after a tweet about ICE forcing pets into shelters in Miami.

The echoes of ICE & the Gestapo actions are similar to me

Left alone by ICE because their humans were kidnapped by ICE.
