Related: About this forumStill no sign of Rhian or Rhys. I'm officially very worried
I just went out to check. Skittish is in the porch. She's the only adult who ever comes inside. Dylan, Snowdon and Bronwyn are there, too. That's it. The last time I saw Rhian and Rhys was just before dark, last night. I had hoped that giving them access to the indoors would protect them, especially at night. Maybe I was being too hopeful.
Honestly, I don't think I can handle any more loss. I know that's unrealistic when dealing with ferals but I still tear up when I think about poor little Tudor.
So any hopeful thoughts you can send out will be much appreciated.

(4,774 posts)Loving & caring for those kitties is what you do. I am hoping they are safe & sound & warm somewhere nearby.

They are together, probably not too far away. Inside a shed or garage. If your weather is foul it could be a huge factor in where they might hunker down.

(89 posts)I know just what you mean, Siwsan. I hope maybe mine and yours are hiding under some warm neighbor house.

(95,080 posts)One of the outdoor shelters? Are there tracks in the snow?
Siwsan
(27,415 posts)There are tracks everywhere but that gave me a thought. In the morning I'll look and see if there are tracks leading away from the house, towards the street. I had thought it possible they were back at the neighbor's, beneath the deck, but they would definitely be here for food.

(95,080 posts)Go exploring. The good part might that they are together. Hope they come back or you find them soon.

(7,648 posts)the precious lives in our care. Rhian and Rhys will appear. I believe that. They must be together and keeping each other warm. It was difficult for all of us when you lost Tudor. Hugs and more hugs for you and your KitKids. 🤗❤️

(37,511 posts)We had single-digit windchills here today. But at least the sun came out. I worry every time Tiger is late. Fortunately he showed up tonight at suppertime, he ate quite a bit, covered his leftovers with his little rug, and then turned around and went back; so hes got a warm place somewhere, maybe your kitties do too.

(3,048 posts)You thwarted mother nature and made death sit in the waiting room so little Tudor got to have a life. Mother nature had no plans for him at all. Because of you he was loved and nurtured. After being shoved off by his litter mates he got to scare his older brothers and sisters. He got to eat delicious kitty food. When he passed he was in the arms of a loved one. Lots of people don't even get that when they pass from this world. I know you miss the little guy. I was hoping to see pictures of him all grown up too. You did great Siwsan!
It's OK to feel sad, but don't miss the opportunity to take some joy in what you did. You should be proud!
