They spent a good part of the afternoon in the enclosed porch but then ventured out. Now all of the juvenile (semi) ferals, except for Dot, are inside. Snowdon is showing little, if any, stress when I come out to check on them.
The screen door window is set on the lowest level. My only fear is a raccoon or opossum coming through the opening. Maybe I'll just bring any remaining kibble inside, at night.

It will be less stressful for you too. I would bring in the left over food at night just to remove any enticement for other critters to come in. Although, I would imagine the kittens would defend their digs to some degree. You'd probably hear about from somebody else in the house.
