Related: About this forumI cut down all of the catnip in the garden yesterday before the freeze
so Sammy and Otis will have fun when it's dried. I have a few sprigs in water because fresh catnip is their fave. Poor Rosie doesn't react to catnip at all. I've heard that 30 percent of cats don't react to it, but I've lived with cats all my life and Rosie is the first one I've ever had that has absolutely no reaction to it.

Ocelot II
(122,797 posts)I brought it inside the other day before it froze, and Pixie hasn't devoured it yet. She nibbles delicately, as if she were savoring it.

(13,789 posts)So when I come inside from being outside, I always pick a little green grass and clover leaves AND a catnip leaf to bring in for her.
I bought her a little tub of wheat grass at farmers market, but she can't quite figure out how to grab and get a long blade.
