Related: About this forumI have no explanation for why Gryff does this.
Where ever he is, at dinner time, is where he insists on eating. Since I couldn't balance the bowl on the back of this old 'cricket' chair (I know - it's so mid-last century but I keep it because the kidcats like it) I put it on the seat, figuring he'd settle on it to eat. Nope.

(631 posts)My little Nora prefers drinking out of a glass, pitcher or vase than her water dish. She also likes to scoop water with her paw and lick it off. Her littermate, Nick, (adopted by my brother) does the same thing. They were feral before the rescue found them as kittens and must have learned this drinking preference together.
likes to drink from cups or stream of water from faucet. Once in a while she drinks from her bowl.
