He's quite the mama's boy so I guess he misses me.

(21,094 posts)It was a "retro" style, but electric, and had an analog dial. So I set it to wake me up at 6:30 am, but it would go off at 6:30 pm too. I worked 9 to 6, so unless I stopped for errands, I would get home around 6:30, and my cat would be waiting for me in the window.
BUT, if I stopped to do grocery shopping or, heaven forbid, meet a friend for dinner, I had hell to pay for getting home "late". She lived to be 23 and got quite hard of hearing. If I waltzed in at 7:30 or 8 pm, she would "yell" at me with a loud meow. She was quite a companion.
