(27,419 posts)My niece and her husband brought me an early Christmas gift - a 42" Roku TV. It's installed on an expandable, swivel bracket so there were lots of boxes and big Styrofoam pieces for everyone (but Carys, who hid) to play with.
Then my brother and his girlfriend stopped by so there were many laps on which to sit, and lots of scritches.
I was TOTALLY gob smacked by the gift. It's loaded with stuff. Maybe they are trying to lure me away from watching endless 'Law and Order' reruns.

(27,419 posts)When I wasn't paying enough attention to her, she'd patty paw my arm.
This morning she's back to her usual behavior. Tomorrow I'm going to try and nab her while she's distracted at the end of breakfast, put her in the carrier and get her to the vet. It didn't work, this morning, but I'm refining my technique.
