Oxalis!

I'm in the SF Bay Area. We recently had some rain, and every oxalis root/seed/whatever they grow from has sprouted. I've tried mulching in the past, and only got hardier oxalis. Any tips for getting rid of it, other than digging up every blasted plant? I've found oxalis sprouts under piles of lumber, in pots planted with commercial potting soil, everywhere! Maybe there's a panda equivalent that can feast on it?

It will all be gone when the rains stop in March or April, but until it will leave bare soil behind.

When we bought this house, 21 years ago, about the only thing in the lawn was crab grass and oxalis. A preeminent in the spring took care of the crab grass, but broadleaf herbicides didn’t touch the oxalis.

I put the Ortho stuff dedicated to oxalis in a spray bottle and carried it on the riding mower. When I got to oxalis, I sprayed it. It took a couple of applications, but the oxalis went away.

I hate that stuff!
