My coffee just finished brewing as I went out back to rehang the bird feeders. I've been bringing them in due to the wee hour raids by a racoon.

Cold cereal this morning with berries a little later.

It was very hot yesterday with another hot one coming today. I'm headed out to the front porch to drink my coffee while the day is still cool. Fortunately it is getting down into the 60s at night and a cooling trend is forecast with rains beginning tonight.

I hate selecting new major appliances. There are too many options and the appliances seem shockingly expensive to me.

Peanut butter toast and a tangerine, later.

Ducky and I were treated to a garbage truck backing down the gravel lane. Beep beep and arf arf. This is a big truck with arms that grab the cans while our pickup tomorrow has people who wave to Ducky and tell him hello.

Then steel-cut oats cooked with ground flax seed and topped with Greek yogurt.
