What's for Dinner, Thurs., May 14, 2026

Enjoying a cup of my watercress mushroom potato soup. That's all I'm having except for maybe some fruit (honeydew melon) later.

Kinda' overdid it in the garden yesterday, so I'm just resting today.

Have a ton of homemade marinara I want to use up. Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, red bell pepper, zucchini, sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. When done I added marinara sauce, air-fried Beyond Steak pieces and cooked farro wheat and gave it a final stir. Vegan parm on top after plating. Cheers!🥂

I plan on taking it easy tomorrow. Like you, I been overdoing it too. I been using my battery powered push mower around the pond. Loretta has been working in the garden, and has it all planted now. Predicting rain tomorrow morning.

It would be a lot of work to mow it. If the mower is battery operated, though, it might be more manageable than a heavy gas one.

I am always impressed at how early you two get that garden in.
