What's for Dinner, Tues., July 4, 2023

Watermelon, feta, and arugula salad with balsamic glaze.

I have arugula rustica which is very strong; also a very nice quality feta which I have been saving for such a salad.

Kinda' warm here, so not too hungry for anything else. Maybe later a decaf iced coffee with a chocolate covered pretzel stick.

grilled smoked sausage
sautéed onions, yellow squash and Zucchini
some left over rice
sautéed orange and yellow peppers
pile it all together at the end
and it is good ...

apple crisp for dessert

with some of the first tomatoes from my garden. We had a big meal midday with both our sons, with ribs, potato salad and key lime pie to celebrate my husband's birthday.
