Finished 6th round of chemo today and rang the bell!
I have stage III-B, high-grade papillary serous endometrial carcinoma. It had spread to local organs, so everything was removed surgically; however, it had already spread to the peritoneum, as well. Fortunately, lymph nodes were negative.
(There's a P53 mutation going on and that's part of what makes it extra aggressive.)
Next up: ongoing Herceptin infusions and 5-6 weeks of daily radiation.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, Sparkly, but it sounds like you've got a good oncology team, good attitude, and so happy to read lymph nodes negative! Chin up, healing thoughts going your way, and thanks for sharing.

I'm still seeing the radiology oncologist a week from Friday to find out whether/why and how much I'll need radiation.
