"Mrs. Lowry & Son". Wow! This film absolutely blew me away!

It stars Dame Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall. Here's my review and a trailer:

I own it on DVD. Pa Larkin is one of the greatest characters ever! The books are great as well!

In my rating system, a 5 star movie is good enough to own. And with limited shelf space, I only buy a couple movies a year. I think "Tracks" was the last movie I gave 5 stars to.

I definitely want to watch this now!

I never heard of Timothy Spall until I saw him as Wormtail in the Harry Potter movies. He really is a very multifaceted actor.

Mrs. Lowry looked so familiar and I was gobsmacked when I later realized who she was!
