I've developed Trigger Finger in my dominant middle finger. Has anyone else overcome this? Suggestions?

I think it was partially "triggered" by starting to play the piccolo again in the community band. No one else wanted to play it.

Maybe related to carpal tunnel problems

2. Steroid shot in the joint. I had it in both thumbs. It took 2 injections in each thumb but it fixed it.

My middle finger tip, left hand points sort of downward. I've had it for many years. Read that people of Northern European and Scandinavian descent get this often.

They can also do simple, non invasive screening for carpal tunnel.

Here is some info:

I've had both carpal & cubital (funny bone nerve) releases done.

After several treatments it got much better, and eventually went away.
This was through the rheumatologist's office.
Painless - each session takes about 15-20 minutes.
