I didn't see it, but I'm always in favour of people in need letting others know about it. You don't know until you ask, and folks can surprise you. I helped an online friend get a service dog to help with her agoraphobia and PTSD a number of years back, and he got her to the point where she actually got back out into life and even became a long haul trucker, something I never would have thought possible with her problems.

Right now, I'm taking 9 pills a day for both my heart issues and mental health issues. I was diagnosed with PTSD, severe anxiety, and depression.

I can't remember who, but someone at DU had a gofundme account. It seemed to work for them.

I just worry that people are getting tired of seeing the gofundme request threads. I just didn't want to add to it.

Thank you all for your support but I get the feeling that the majority of DU is tired of seeing these gofundme request.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
