House Foreign Affairs Committee Majority accused honduran President Xiomara Castro of "using legal warfare"

Translated from Spanish

The House Foreign Affairs Committee noted that President Xiomara Castro “is using legal warfare to pressure election officials.”
Today, Castro “condemned the interference of President Donald Trump, who threatened the people for supporting Rixi Moncada.”

Depending on what their actual law says.

with most votes. Their law states that in that case, a recount must be done. The problem is that Ttump will pressure both parties to accept these very questionable results the honduran election authority is giving.

5. I mean. It isnt unreasonable to accept a result with an almost 1% margin and carefully counted by the ruling party

(The same party that claims the vote is rigged.)

Ultimately these results have nothing to do with Trump. Nasrallah only ran because LIBRE betrayed their power sharing deal with him while he was VP. 60% of the vote basically went to members of the current administration. If they worked something out with Nasrallah and honored the power sharing agreement, the other guy would have no shot.

Regardless, LIBRE is starting to act like autocrats who are trying to throw out election results they dont like on s whim. Let's face it: If the results were flipped and LIBRE was ahead by half a point under the same conditions, there would be no nullification of the vote or calls to stop certification.

GOP is a broken clock but this is the time some of them might be right.
