Have any musical artists told the DNC to "cease and desist" playing their tunes? If not ...

... is it because the DNC (and our candidates) actually get permission to use the song?

Or is it that the artists support the candidate, so they don't have a problem with their tunes being used (regardless of whether they gave permission or not).

Particularly the politically oriented ones. Springsteen, Stipe, Conor Oberst, Neil Young... Hell, Beyonce.

It's not an issue.
