2. Don’t engage in flame wars.
They will simply not be tolerated. If things get out of control and a thread is hijacked, it will be closed. We have no tolerance for this kind of disruptive behavior. Users who break this rule will be banned, temporarily or permanently, depending on circumstances.

3. No personal attacks. None.
Attacking people instead of ideas leads to defensiveness and fighting rather than discussion and achievement, and turns discussion boards into @#$%. There are various ways to handle strong disagreements::

- "You're an idiot" - this is clearly a personal attack, and is not allowed
- "That's just stupid" - Slightly better, but still needlessly confrontational
- "That's a bit silly, because..." - OK
- "I disagree with you because..." - Best
