Grassley(R-IA)
2022- Pat Grassley-R, Ashley Hinson-R, or Kim Reynolds-R.
Shelby(R-AL)
2022- Roger Aderholt-R, John Merrill-R, or Mike Rogers-R.
Inhofe(R-OK)

Newsom appointed Alex Padilla-D(a Hispanic male) to replace Kamala Harris-D(a black female).

finishing her term on Sick leave. Do not expect her to be any where near the 2022 session,if she does bail early,look for her to be replace by Barb Lee .

nkpolitics1212 notes some interesting possibilities as successors. Let's hope each of these Senators retires by the next election, sooner in the instances of Grassley, Shelby & Inhofe.

All of these, including Feinstein, would be very good examples of the need for term limits. That will likely never become a reality.

I wouldn't be surprised if Matt Whitaker didn't take a run at it. He has never been successful and has failed miserably at running for any other elected office, but I can guarantee you his ego is telling him that Iowa wants and needs him in that job.
