Maybe there's more to this story then we all know. I read the attached link, and I didn't see anything else in the article, but perhaps the officer is trying to make a point, which I agree w/, don't assault our officers.

This is probably just a cop who is not familiar with their culture misinterpreting an everyday gesture.
