I just bought this great iPad but I'm looking to see if anybody else has any experience it's an iPad for so iPad 3 or iPad for users could you recommend a good case I've been looking into a couple of different ones online there's the Griffin Griffin survivor which is apparently a really hard case very durable splash safe that sort of thing
There's also the Moshe Versye case which I read a lot of good things about apparently it's the most popular case but I read a bunch of reviews on Amazon that said that the corners cracked I assume that means that the quarters of the protective case cracked and not the iPad so I was just wondering if anybody else had had any experience with cases for their iPads thanks own the punctuation here is bad because I was using Siri thank you

Actually, do a search in this forum. We had a discussion on class a while back.

(53,661 posts)Eventually, I will break down and buy one.
I put my laptop in an air travel sheath, a tailored and cushioned bag, very snug. And put it in the webbing inside my backpack so it's got more padding.
Is that not enough?

(24,740 posts)I have the mini iPad & I love it because I can put it in my purse & take it anywhere. As expensive as they are, it makes sense to get a good, sturdy case to protect it.
I have a Snugg case for my iPad:

I like the sound of your laptop case!

(2,017 posts)(I also have a kindle) but I bought a tomtom GPS several years ago and the glass broke about 3 months after I got it. tomtom said "yeah, buy another one"
Most of the cases I've looked into seem to focus their protection on corner dropping, which would suggest that a perpendicular blow to the ipad glass will shatter it. I also have a friend whose ipad glass shattered. He put a screen protector over the cracks and still uses it.
I'd like to avoid that

(38,958 posts)Mine is mostly used around the house and for vacations. I picked up a easel/case at Best Buy shortly after I purchased it and it is just fine for my light usage. If you are going to be using it heavily, I would think getting something more rugged would be in order.
I would take your time, consider your usage and shop around to see what best fits your needs.
And Welcome to DU

(2,017 posts)I do HVAC work and it would be nice to have net access discussing problems with colleagues or looking up specific info online. So covering the glass and some fall protection would seem to be a must.
Looking around and found this.
