USB Devise not supported
Try uninstall and that did not work. Thanks for any help you can give me.

(16,988 posts)the USB devise is not supported. When I looked for online support told to uninstall. (USB Device not recognized" error when you try to access a USB external hard drive) I obviously need to be able to use this feature to get my pictures from my iphone onto my computer. This happened recently. I thought it might be the cable I was using but changing cables did not work either. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

(4,476 posts)I wish iPhones played with computers better, its always been a convoluted process even on Macs.
Thanks for the additional info, it helps to know what youre trying to accomplish.

or if in a hurry for just one or a few pics, I email them to myself.

Yes you need the latest version of iTunes for Windows. Sadly you can't just access it like a USB drive.
