Have an issue that drives me crazy.
Using Paint Shop Pro from Corel to edit photos. Installed on three machines. All running Windows 10 installed over 7 with a full re-set, ie loose all data and apps for a clean start.
PSP has a feature that tags image files for easy retreival. That data is stored in a file imageDB.db. When closing the app that file should be saved and retrieved on restart. The two laptops work as expected but my Lenovo desktop loses that data every time I close the program. If I copy imageDB.db to another location and copy it back either before or after I restart the app everything works.
I've done a second W10 reinstall and no change.
Is there something in settings or elsewhere I might look for?
Customer support at Corel has given up as I'm the only user with the issue.

(1,642 posts)Very liberal licensing. But, it has its quirks and crashes.
I have never used this tagging feature.
Before reinstalling PSP, be sure to completely uninstall it. Wipe it completely from the machine. Manually delete the user and data directories if necessary.
Good luck.
