President Donald Trump is in control of a large sum of cash as the November midterm elections approach, but some Republicans are concerned hell be reluctant to spend it, according to a new report.
Trumps allies have estimated that he controls a political war chest of about $1.4 billion, Puck News reports. This apparent total doesnt include the millions Trump has raised for other projects, including the White House ballroom and his presidential library, according to the outlet.
This comes after Trump bragged in August that he had raised in excess of $1.5 billion since the 2024 election.
Now, some Republicans are worried Trump wont be willing to spend enough on key midterm races to make a difference, according to Puck News. An unnamed Republican Senator told the outlet: Hell never spend all that money, because history tells us that.

(8,681 posts)But I am convinced that is what Trump intends to do. He sees it as his money. Given that he is really good at exploiting every possible loophole in the laws, he will do so. For example, you can charge your PAC for hotels, travel, meals, etc.. under the guise of political activity. I am sure him and his goons will get creative and find ways to appropriate this money.

He'll probably pocket 40-50 billion dollars from the grift he engages in during his second term.
And, if we're lucky, he'll die before he gets to enjoy any of it.
And if we're doubly lucky, Democrats will control both houses of congress after the 2028 election and start the process to recover all that stolen money under the emoluments clause.
