Stanton represents a swing US House District that has rural voters unlike Ruben Gallegos US House District.
AZ is a tilt Republican state. Mark Kelly and Katie Hobbs won because their Republican opponents Blake Masters and Kari Lake are too extreme. Mark Kelly is not a progressive nor he is a DINO like Kyrsten Sinema.

Maricopa is not blue; it's still nominally red, though extremists don't fare as well county wide.

instead of the more progressive Gallego and therefore will fair better in AZ?
Interesting, but aren't the most votes in the two big counties, Maricopa and Pima, which are blue?
