Maybe it is as simple as the right wing, or the libertarian Koch family, in the USA wants the word "freedom" to have a specific emotional value in the hearts and minds of Canadians. If so, I don't think it is working as intended.

the Canadian Goose Convoy: much honking and s****ing. (Not my joke) But we need more details. I read yesterday the Russians promoted the anti vax movement around the world online in 2018. I think it was only natural to expand that promotion when Covid came along. The goal may have always been to attack science and educated elites and divide.

Find a wedge issue to weaken us from within. Nothing new but they have been doing it since before trump. We are at war with the Soviets and it time we acknowledge it and fight it directly.
