I'm sure that you will agree that Canada must take all steps to protect our democratic elections from interference by offshore BOTs, AI, and, above all, from the increasingly dangerous actions of Elon Musk. I have been engaging with Elections Canada on the steps needed to protect the upcoming election from the possible exploitation of the powerful X algorithm.

Let me put it in context.

Last week, the German government went to court to force Elon Musk to turn over information on potential interference by Mr. Musk in the X algorithm. They want to know if it was used to interfere in the German election. Meanwhile, in the United States, disturbing reports suggest possible interference in Donald Trump's election campaign.

And Musk has been shooting his mouth off about Canada's upcoming election, so the potential for interference is obvious.

misinformation and disinformation and knew that hacking was a potential issue. We did little to nothing. I hope Canada has learned from our lessons.

with Space-X weren't tinfoil hatters but putting together the dots.

Both Trump and Elon have implied this happened on the air. Trump re: Elon in PA with vote counting machines, and Elon & Son joking with Tucker Carlson about doing "whatever they want". Sorry I don't have links, but these from DU posts.

They are like Colonel Jessup, dying to admit it. They are proud of the heist.

I hope the Germans and Canadians help us figure this out. We saved Europe form the Nazis last time. Maybe they'll save us this time. Everything is at stake for them too.

of the depths of the evil or the abilities of the Dump/techbro cult. Some still refuse to see how much trouble we are in. Talk of 'the midterms will save us' still abounds. I'd rather err on the side of pessimism than see us be shocked again. We need to fight on all fronts, not just the traditional Dem 'high road'!
