But Polieve is way less ideal. The ad they are running RELENTLESSLY is so simplistic and, at least in part, so obviously false that it sets my teeth on edge.

His "common sense" budget is going to "Axe The Tax", and make living more affordable, especially in the areas of food and real estate prices. Sell off federal land (and how much prime residential land do you think the govt owns, at this point? Enough of it, and cheap enough to move the needle? Massive drop in the value of real estate holdings comin' right up!!

Apart from land value, it costs a f'ing pantload of money to build a house. About $400 a square foot, and up, depending on finishes. How is Pierre going to change that? Mandate that construction materials must be sold at a huge loss? It's not hard to see why any single family house costs a million and up around here. A NICE house in a good area? How much money do you have?
